MEDIA PLANNER

The Media Planner is responsible for supporting day-to-day planning and implementation of commerce
media programs across digital channels. S/he is a self-starter and adept at using audience insights and
data to inform planning, substantiate hypotheses, evaluate results, and drive optimization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support day-to-day project team in planning, buying and management of commerce media
campaigns for assigned accounts.
• Employs analytical reasoning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to manage campaigns
effectively and efficiently.
• Oversee program budgets, invoicing and billing reconciliation.
• Conduct bidding and competitive research (e.g., Analytic Index, Skai)
• Collaborate with vendors to schedule meetings, gather ad specs/program requirements and update
production sheets.
• Facilitate media plan development and oversee inventory procurement, including contracting, spec
gathering and ad trafficking.
• For platform media, set up and manage campaign architecture, targeting and bid strategies, QA and
in-platform optimizations.
• Manage in-market programs to ensure delivery, performance and optimizations are on track and
recognize account performance trends worth escalating (good or bad)
• Collaborate with Analytics to ensure proper tagging, reporting, insights and optimization takes place.
• Manage program budgets, invoicing and billing reconciliation.
• Manage junior team members as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-5 years hands-on performance marketing experience, preferably on the Agency side and relevant
to e-Retail/CPG
• Experience in Sponsored Ads, DSP, and Retail
• Strong professional presence and communication skills
• Support /oversee project/accounts.
• Comprehensive data analysis and problem-solving skills; able to draw conclusions and with
guidance, you can devise strategic recommendations based on findings.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, vlookups, and chart building. Working knowledge of Visual
Basic macros is a plus.
• Additional software skills a plus (e.g. Skai, PacVue,)
• Strong quantitative experience with proven ability to interpret data and craft recommendations.
• Able to evaluate and recommend specific partners/tactics/tools, draft plans/performance reports in a
logical format/flow, and effectively articulate overall program objectives/approach/results.
• Capable of developing and maintaining relationships with key media partners/vendors
• Detail-oriented and well organized with effective communication skills (written & verbal)
• Effective time management skills – able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and issue resolution skills, along with an ability to collaborate
cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• - Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide
processes, tools and resources
• - May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

• - Travel is an essential duty and function of this job. Driving is not an essential duty or function of this
job.
• - Travel up to 20%
