Media Strategy Intern

Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Media Strategy Intern to join the Medical Communications Group. This position is located in our New York, NY office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and two days remote.

Job Overview:

You will be working with the Media Strategy team to prepare RFPs and marketing materials that speak to our clients’ needs and strategic imperatives. The Media Strategy team works in tandem with the sales department in order to deliver robust and accurate proposals that clearly outline the programs that Haymarket has to offer. From 2023 to 2024, the medical communications group was up +15% in the number of proposals received, so organization is paramount to this role in order to manage the increasing volume of RFPs.

Responsibilities:

Learn the workflow and standard operating procedure of the Media Strategy team as well as adjacent departments. 

Familiarize yourself with the tactics/products offered by Haymarket media

Complete RFPs & presentations that properly align with our clients’ objectives

Create and maintain SOP documents to ensure procedural optimization

Receive and assess client requests so that you can accurately pitch the appropriate programs and strategies.

Input data into our designated CRM to ensure an optimal and accurate sales process. 

Research and evaluate client purchasing patterns to create effective strategies for future proposals.

Collaborate with internal teams to curate custom audience groups that will be utilized during our clients’ campaigns.

Proficiency in Google Sheets & Google Slides

Strong critical thinking skills

Attention to detail and organization

Ability to draw conclusions from data points

Strong Communication Skills

What We Offer:

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $16.50/hr.

Start Date/ Duration: June 16, 2025 to August 15, 2025 (9 weeks)

Schedule: 32 hours a week; Hybrid; Summer Fridays
