Media Strategy & Planning Specialist

The Media Strategy & Planning Specialist plays the critical role of translating the activity brief into a holistic media and channel plan, serving as a key conduit through media agency partners and in-house biddable media teams. Once the activity brief and channel plan(s) are aligned, the Manager leads the process and is ultimately accountable for bringing the plan to life through tactical channel and partner allocations.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Aids in the management of the media AORs in the development and execution of media buysManages messaging grids, creative inputs and traffic sheets from a strategic standpointAssists as a key agency conduit to support brand media teams in managing the day-to-day national media processWork closely with the Biddable & Analytics team on campaign stewardship and reportingAssists in managing national media budgets with key finance stakeholdersImplementing key timelines, deliverables, and outputWork collaboratively with brand media managers to assist with investment recommendations tied to landscape conditions and/or disproportionate impact opportunitiesDevelop POVs on industry trends and partner evaluationConsult and update briefs based on paid media learnings

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

4-year degree in marketing or a business-related program is preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

Ability to deliver resultsExcellent project management skills (proficiency in Excel/PPT/SharePoint will be key)Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to lead and influence othersPersonal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humorPassion for the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations.
