Our Opportunity: Chewy is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and proactive Workflow Engineer II to join our in-house Media Content Services Team located in Plantation, FL! You will build the best-in-class media management workflows around our two asset management platforms (MAM/DAM) that set standards for all content projects produced at Chewy. You must have the experience and passion vital to jump into a team that is responsible for supporting media assets for all business units, digital channels, and our storefront including photography, graphic design files, and broadcast video editing needs for Chewy.

What you'll do:

Build best-in-class media management workflows that set the standards for all of Media Content Services, and ultimately, across all of Chewy’s asset management environments (MAM/DAM)Build Integrations with multiple SaaS services (Lambda, Python, EC2, AWS configuration and management)Integrate systems over HTTPSDevelop rules-based process automationsMaintain consistent source control on projectsPerform routine backups of systems to maintain continuity of servicesBuild and test transcoding profiles and create workflow documentation as technologies evolveWork with vendors on software improvements that affect all technologyEarn trust through active and multifaceted communication with not only peers throughout the Studio teams but also leaders within the Post-Production departmentPrepare technical solution designs and proposals, applying existing standards to meet business requirementsExhibit sophisticated post-production workflow knowledge and experience 

What you'll need:

3+ Years of Workflow Engineering experience in an asset management environmentSaaS based development experience - Python, Lambda Coding, Scripting, and UX design experienceDeep passion for everything post-production workflowHighly proficient in transcoding sophisticated media filesHighly organized and detail-driven, with a proven ability to anticipate workflow needs in a quick-turn environmentThrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment - happy to be flexible and pivot on a dime!Ability to act as a phenomenal teammate in a production team, who is ready and able to help come up with solutions to creative problemsProven ability to self-manage multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to shifting priorities or pivot based on project requirements and changes in scopeAn understanding of quality, a creative problem solver who sees value in high-level production and execution of projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsActive listener with a solid ability to think criticallySolid attention to detail, organization, time management, and communication skillsA positive, can-do demeanorAvailable to work on weekends and evenings when neededAbout Chewy Studios
