SSO is committed to a diverse workforce, which is a reflection of our clients and the people they serve. **Medicaid Program Advisor, Albany NY** **OQPS - 1020** **Summary** This position will be responsible for compliance activities for the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY). The SHIN-NY is New York’s statewide health information exchange that connects providers across the state for better care coordination and health outcomes. The SHIN-NY plays a pivotal role in New York’s current 1115 Waiver, New York Health Equity Reform (NYHER). Oversight for the SHIN-NY is the responsibility of the Center of Health Data Innovation in the Office of Health Services Quality and Analytics. The primary responsibility of the position will be to carry out established compliance program protocols. This will include setting deadlines, tracking submissions against targets, reviewing existing processes/documentation for improvement, and generating reports. The incumbent will be expected to coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and office leadership. **The successful candidate will perform a variety of activities including:** + Reviewing deliverables for payment against established criteria + Overseeing annual SHIN-NY certification processes + Oversee Corrective Action Plan processes as needed + Manage contractor and subcontractor workplans for their implementation of compliance program requirements. + Review compliance requirements with applicable subject matter experts and system vendor for annual system update. + Document compliance activities in appropriate trackers. + Others duties as needed or assigned. **Desired Characteristics** : + Ability to work independently with excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills. + Effective time management skills to meet program timelines. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Experience with educational training. + Experience with healthcare compliance programs. + Experience with interpreting healthcare regulations and policies. _*Employees must follow established work schedules. The usual work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the supervisor, this includes a half hour unpaid lunch break. Total work hours must equal 40 hours per week._ Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
