Medical Administrator
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Administrator in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio. As a Medical Administrator, you will be responsible for managing healthcare services and administrative tasks in a hospital setting. Responsibilities • Effectively utilize healthcare technologies including ADP - Financial Services, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Computer Programs, and EHR SYSTEM. • Handle inbound calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. • Oversee the billing functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Maintain and update patient charts and graphs for accurate record keeping. • Administer healthcare claims, ensuring they are processed and settled in a timely manner. • Manage operations of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines. • Coordinate the use and maintenance of Biologics in the healthcare setting. • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining databases. • Ensure effective communication between healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders. • Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies to enhance healthcare services. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and other relevant computer programs. • Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM and ability to manage electronic health records efficiently. • Experience in answering inbound calls and managing billing functions. • Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs. • Proven skills in claim administration and clinical trial operations. • Knowledge and understanding of Biologics. • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting is preferred. • Strong administrative skills, including managing schedules, patient records, and office systems. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies. • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Strong organization skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures is an advantage. • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in medical administration is a plus.
