Medical Assembler
**Medical Assembler-$19/HR** 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM M-Th **Job Description** As a Medical Assembler, you will begin your journey in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for the precise assembly of medical components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role involves working with coil winding machines, microscopes, and various small hand tools. You will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the assembly process to enhance your skills and versatility. **Responsibilities** + Operate coil winding machines to wrap coils around a spindle. + Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes about 30-50% of the day. + Work with small hand tools such as pliers, filers, and skivs/knives. + Inspect and deburr parts from molding machines. + Assemble medical components on multiple lines using microscopes and hand tools. + Operate laser welding machines to finish small medical components. + Work with automated presses and stamping machines in the non-cleanroom area. + Inspect and deburr parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. + Sit or stand for 8 hours a day, depending on the process requirements. + Follow written work instructions to complete assembly tasks. **Essential Skills** + 4-6+ months of medical manufacturing experience or small part experience. + 4-6+ months of microscope experience. + Proficiency in cleanroom assembly processes. + Experience with coil winding, catheter assembly, and laser welding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical inclination, especially for the housings area. + Good hand dexterity, beneficial for tasks requiring precision. + Adaptability and openness to cross-training in different areas. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
