Medical Assembler
**Job Title: Medical Assembler** **Job Description** As a Medical Assembler, you will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment, where you will undergo a gowning process. You will use coil winding machines and perform various tasks including inspecting and manipulating wires under a microscope. Over time, you will be cross-trained in other areas such as molding, CEA assembly, laser welding, and implantable housings. This role requires attention to detail, hand dexterity, and the ability to work while sitting or standing for extended periods. **Responsibilities** + Work with microscopes and small hand tools, both under a microscope and without. + Perform tasks in a cleanroom environment, including coil winding, molding, and assembly of medical components. + Inspect and deburr parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. + Operate machines such as automated presses and stamping machines in the non-cleanroom area. + Follow written work instructions and maintain high attention to detail. + Sit or stand for 8 hours a day, depending on the specific task. **Essential Skills** + 4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or working with small parts. + 4-6+ months of experience using microscopes. + Familiarity with working in a cleanroom environment. + Experience with assembly processes, catheter manufacturing, laser welding, and coil winding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical inclination, especially for roles in the housings area. + Good hand dexterity, beneficial if you have experience in sewing or similar tasks. + Adaptability and openness to cross-training in multiple areas. **Why Work Here?** Our facility offers a supportive and engaging work environment with multiple benefits. Some positions are in a non-cleanroom area, which is noisier and has an oil smell, but it is manageable. Flexibility to sit or stand throughout the day is required. Skirts are permitted if no skin is exposed, and hijabs must be athletic and tucked in for safety. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
