Job Title: Medical Assembler

Job Description

This role is designated as the Pilot Operator. You will work at the R&D facility, engaging in prototype assemblies and contributing to the development of new product lines. You will collaborate directly with engineers and technicians to build and enhance production lines. This position involves working both inside and outside cleanrooms, with cross-training in multiple areas to ensure versatility and adaptability.

ResponsibilitiesStart in the packaging and testing area to gain familiarity with different parts and processes.Operate the vertical reflow machine for testing, coating, and laminating parts.Cross-train in various areas such as Assembly/Operating, Grinding, and Lab.Work with hand tools, including tweezers, pliers, crimpers, and screwdrivers.Learn to solder using flux and perform light welding of parts.Use microscopes extensively for inspections and assemblies.Operate and run flattener machines, semi-automated reflow machines, and small injection mold presses.Work on grinding and finishing parts using grinding machines and deburring tools.Utilize computers for work processes and documentation.Collaborate closely with engineers to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.Essential Skills4+ years of medical assembly experience.Experience working with R&D departments and engineers.Proficiency in using microscopes, blueprints, and hand tools.Ability to troubleshoot and multitask.Skills in coil winding, laser welding, catheter assembly, stamping, and microscope inspection.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable with cross-training and learning multiple processes/areas.Proactive and takes initiative to get things done.Technically savvy and comfortable with technology and computers.Ability to find new ideas and ways to improve processes.

The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $22.25
