Job Title: Medical Assistance Coordinator

Training: 6-8 weeks on the first shift (7am-3pm).

Pay: $23-25 per hour (depending on experience)

Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite, with the rest of the work performed remotely.

After training could be assigned 2nd shifts: 7pm-7am on weekdays and weekends (40 hours a week)

Beacon Hill's client in Steven's Point, WI is seeking dedicated and empathetic Medical Assistance Coordinators to join their dynamic team. In this fast-paced, rewarding role, you will provide essential support to clients across the globe who are facing medical emergencies. As a Medical Assistance Coordinator, you will be trained to assist with coordinating medical treatment, facilitating doctor/facility referrals, handling prescription replacements, managing medical travel, and overseeing repatriation efforts, among other medically related services.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating medical treatment for clients through referrals to doctors and facilities.Ensuring that appropriate medical travel arrangements and repatriation services are provided.Collaborating with a global team of medical professionals to obtain guidance and recommendations for client care.Assisting clients with locating medical treatment options in unfamiliar locations, overcoming language barriers, and ensuring the care they receive is appropriate.Alleviating client concerns by providing solutions and continuous support throughout their treatment process.Managing incoming calls and responding to medical emergencies while working through cases in your assigned queue.Communicating with clients through emails and outbound calls to follow up on their care.Providing assistance with insurance claims and navigating coverage concerns.

Requirements:

Excellent time management skills to handle a high volume of cases efficiently.Strong documentation skills to ensure accurate tracking and communication.Empathy and understanding to offer the best support for clients during stressful situations.Previous experience in customer care or a call center environment is a plus.

Additional Information:

Desired Shift Rotation: After training, individuals will move to a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend on first/second shifts.
