Pacific Endoscopy Center, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a per-diem Medical Assistant to join our amazing and patient oriented team.
About the Opportunity
The Medical Assistant (MA) will greet patients, prepare examination rooms, and handle general intake tasks for patients visiting the office. Additionally, the MA will be responsible for taking vital signs, managing scheduling, and performing routine documentation as part of their job duties. The Medical Assistant also assists with Endoscopy procedures and provides patient care. Furthermore, the MA is responsible for assisting the Physician with procedures and, when necessary, for cleaning and processing scopes, accessories, and instruments
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Experience as a GI Tech/Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or sterile processing tech Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it prior to starting workPreferred Qualifications:
