As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in a clinic or practice environment. A Medical Assistant - is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Room set up and patient preparationTaking vitalsDrawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.Performing office testsAdministrative duties

What you will need:

High School diploma or equivalentSuccessful completion of an accredited certified Medical Assistant (MA) programBe able to obtain RMA (AMT), CMA (AAMA), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA) or NRCMA (NHAP) certification within 90 days of hireOR Active military members and veterans with formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or its equivalent during U.S. military services within the past five years and be able to obtain one of the following certifications within 90 days of hire.2 years of Medical Assisting experience preferred
