Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, your primary duties will include taking patient vital signs, stocking rooms, cleaning and maintaining medical instruments, and setting up rooms for various procedures. You will also be responsible for patient intake, which involves collecting medical history, recording symptoms, and ensuring patients are comfortably guided to their respective rooms.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenport, New York.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced community health center. The working hours vary depending on the site. Riverhead Site operates from 8:30 AM to 8 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:30 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 8:30 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays. Southampton Site operates from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Amityville Site operates from 8 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8 AM to 5 PM on Fridays. Sundays are off at all sites.
