Duties and Responsibilities: 
 

Patient Care:Assist in taking patient medical histories, including cardiac history, symptoms, and medication lists.Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including ECG (electrocardiogram), Pacemaker/TTM, Cardiac Monitors. Clinical Procedures:Perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, Pacemaker TTM, and Cardiac Monitors.Prepare and maintain equipment used for cardiac procedures and tests, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and ready for use.Administrative Duties:Schedule patient appointments for cardiac tests, procedures, and follow-up visits.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including test results, treatment plans, and correspondence with other healthcare providers.Assist with billing and coding related to cardiac services provided to patients.Coordinate referrals to other healthcare specialists as needed for further evaluation or treatment.Patient Support:Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction.Quality Assurance:Adhere to clinical protocols and standards of care related to cardiac procedures and patient management.Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.Stay current with advances in cardiac medicine and technology through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications: 

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Having Cardiac Experience (EKG, telemetry, Holter) a plus 

Knowledge of medical terminology 

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions 

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English 

Professional appearance and demeanor.
