Since 1978, All-Stat Portable has continued to provide dependable, consistent, and accurate mobile imaging services to the Chicagoland area & surrounding regions.    Duties and Responsibilities:    + Patient Care: + Assist in taking patient medical histories, including cardiac history, symptoms, and medication lists. + Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including ECG (electrocardiogram), Pacemaker/TTM, Cardiac Monitors. + Clinical Procedures: + Perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, Pacemaker TTM, and Cardiac Monitors. + Prepare and maintain equipment used for cardiac procedures and tests, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and ready for use. + Administrative Duties: + Schedule patient appointments for cardiac tests, procedures, and follow-up visits. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including test results, treatment plans, and correspondence with other healthcare providers. + Assist with billing and coding related to cardiac services provided to patients. + Coordinate referrals to other healthcare specialists as needed for further evaluation or treatment. + Patient Support: + Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction. + Quality Assurance: + Adhere to clinical protocols and standards of care related to cardiac procedures and patient management. + Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. + Stay current with advances in cardiac medicine and technology through continuing education and professional development activities. Qualifications:  + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) + Having Cardiac Experience (EKG, telemetry, Holter) a plus  + Knowledge of medical terminology  + Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions  + Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English  + Professional appearance and demeanor.  + Flexibility with scheduling    Powered by JazzHR
