Certified Medical Assistant Full-time; Mon - Fri 8hr Shift; $17 - $29/hr
Family Medicine Associates in Westfield, MA is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant (MA). The MA is responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients and for providing a positive, supportive environment for patients and other staff while working in conjunctions with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office, and other clinical staff. Primary Responsibilities Perform clinical intake with patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history in EHRAssist patients as needed with walking, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc..Complete patient referrals and patient callbacks dailyProper and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and proceduresOther assigned dutiesManage inventory of supplies; restock exam/procedure roomsMaintain clinical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of biohazardsPrepare patient rooms, set up instruments and equipment according to protocolClean exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.  Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentCompleted MA program Benefits:Health Insurance Paid Time Off401(k)Please note this position is posted on behalf of our partner practices.
