Medical Assistant | Oviedo, FL Job Description + This is a Medical Assistant Floater position for the East-Orlando Region + The candidate will primarily float within this region & may also be required to cover in locations outside of the region. + The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. + This role supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating the pediatric patient population. + The Laboratory Medical Assistant Floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. + This floating employee will be working in various offices to support either the MA role or dedicated Lab station. There is mileage reimbursement for the floater.
