Job Title: Medical Assistant Floater

Job Description

This is a Medical Assistant Floater position for Sanford PA, West Volusia, First Choice Deltona, and First Choice Sanford. The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. Supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating pediatric patient population. The Laboratory Medical Assistant Floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or dedicated Lab station.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in DeLand, Florida.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturdays (up to 2x/ mo) 8am-12pm

Patient-facing, indoor work, operating computer, exposure to hazards, reach outward; reach above the shoulder, manual dexterity, lift/carry 10 lbs. or less, sitting, walking, squatting, kneeling, or bending. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturdays (up to 2x/ mo) 8am-12pm
