(Full-time - 40 hours/week) Location: Putnam, CT (Behavioral Health Department) Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers. Your Role: As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing patient experiences and ensuring seamless medical operations. Your responsibilities will include: + Assisting with patient flow and preparing individuals for examinations and procedures. + Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment while keeping inventory stocked. + Complying with agency protocols, including documentation of waived testing and medication controls. + Managing various administrative tasks, such as filing lab reports and supporting other duties as assigned. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: + Completion of an MA program, certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/AAMA) is preferred. + Experience in a primary care setting is a plus. + A valid CPR certification. + Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.
