This is a Full Time, Day Shift, Medical Assistant position supporting one of our Northwest Primary Care at Vail!
Summary:
Performs patient care activities under the supervision of a provider. Assists providers with medical procedures and office administrative processes as required.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: High School diploma/GED, and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
(Note: If hired prior to 4/1/2021, equivalent experience is allowed in lieu of HS diploma/GED).
Experience:
Preferred: Six (6) months experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program at NH.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
