Perform a variety of simple and standard laboratory tests. Operate a variety of laboratory equipment. Prepare and process paperwork for various laboratory tests. Maintain and update patient charts and files. Answer telephone, screen calls and take messages. Respond to patient inquiries, directing them as appropriate or providing routine information on University Health Center (UHC) procedures, hours and services available. Schedule appointments. Qualifications Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
1 year of related experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Medical Assistant Program Certificate. CPR Certification. Ability to take blood pressure, draw blood and administer electrocardiograms. Ability to operate a variety of equipment used in a medical facility. Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $32.660. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
