Great benefits and a positive working environment! **Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant** - 2+ years of recent medical assistant experience required - Family or internal medicine experience preferred - Ability to float between east valley offices required - Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required - High school diploma or GED required - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen **Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant** - Check patients in and out - Room patients and take vitals - Collect patient information and enter into EMR system - Prep patient for provider - Handle injections and blood draws - Answer phones - Schedule/reschedule appointments - Handle prescription refills, referrals and authorizations **About the Company** This well-known and successful healthcare system has remained a symbol of quality for over 25 years.
