Primary Objective\n
Responsible for providing basic care including assisting medical providers with all procedures and tests, may involve traveling to satellite facilities with providers, providing patient education and training, communicating effectively with patients and all members of the clinical services team including receiving, recording, and responding to patient calls, and assisting other staff in the clinic.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: \n\nPerforms routine office procedures and testing in a safe and effective manner.\nMaintains a constant awareness of policies and procedures.\nEffectively communicates via telephone and in-person in a courteous, prompt and polite manner. \nDocuments all information accurately in EMR.\nResponds to voicemail in a timely manner.\nIdentifies common and recurring needs of the patient.\nKeeps all clinical areas clean and properly stocked.\nIdentifies patient education needs and provide information.\nDocuments observations, actions and patient outcomes.\nHandles information with discretion and maintains confidentiality. \nCommunicates effectively and professionally with providers, clinic director, nurse manager, co-workers and patients. \n\n
Qualifications\n\nMedical Assistant (MA, RMA, CMA, NCMA, CCMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)\nMust be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.\nAt least one year of previous clinical experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant strongly preferred.\nCPR Certification preferred but may provide certification.\n\n
