Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience and a CCMA certification to join our dynamic team. The role involves assisting physicians with patient care, scheduling, prior authorizations, obtaining pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs, communicating test results, performing phlebotomy, and various other tasks. The candidate must be able to drive to satellite clinics and take manual blood pressure. Responsibilities + Assist physicians with patient care + Schedule appointments + Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs + Communicate test results to patients + Perform phlebotomy + Take manual blood pressure + Float to satellite locations once trained (paid mileage) + Perform front desk and back office tasks Essential Skills + Detail-oriented + Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced office + Strong communication skills + Attention to detail + Time management + Organization + Familiarity with giving instructions and writing orders + Prior medical experience + CCMA certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with medical assisting + Customer service + Electronic health records + Appointment scheduling Work Environment This role is primarily based in an office setting. The main location is in Knoxville, with occasional travel to satellite clinics (paid mileage). The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The clinic is part of a larger health system with access to onsite amenities. Full benefit options are available. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
