Job Description
Position Overview: The role of a Clinical Medical Assistant is to provide care and education to patients, following established standards and practices. The medical assistant will update patient charts in EMR systems and document changes. The individual will coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Additionally, the role involves restocking rooms.

Typical working conditions may require frequent exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other substances common to a medical office environment. The role requires working in close proximity to other personnel and the use of a computer keyboard throughout the workday. It may also require the use of an autoclave for instrument sterilization and working under stressful conditions or irregular hours. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a scrubs dress code. No holidays or vacation time is offered, but sick time is available.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00
