We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for various medical and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and providing top-notch care to our patients.
Responsibilities
+ Collect patient demographics based on symptoms
+ Assist with medical record keeping and electronic health records (EMR)
+ Take and record patient vitals
+ Provide customer service at the front desk
+ Utilize medical terminology accurately
+ Support healthcare providers in delivering patient care
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic
+ Medical Assistant diploma or certification, or 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
+ Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Ability to work well in a team
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Attention to detail
Work Environment
You will be working onsite at a primary care clinic, seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, 6 paid holidays, and PTO (8 hours for every 400 hours worked). Upon permanent hire, you will enjoy 9 paid holidays, 15 days of PTO, performance-based pay raises, and additional PTO tokens for exceptional performance. The clinic also regularly hosts employee appreciation events such as dinners, lunches, and parties.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
