Hiring a Medical Assistant - Pulmonology/Rheumatology Office

Location: Middletown, CT

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you passionate about patient care and looking to make a meaningful impact in a specialized medical field? Join our dedicated team at our Pulmonology/Rheumatology office in Middletown, CT, where we provide exceptional care for patients with respiratory and autoimmune conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.Record patient medical histories and vital signs.Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician.Perform routine laboratory tests and sample collection.Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions.Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.Previous experience in a medical office, particularly in pulmonology or rheumatology, is a plus.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
