Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic. You will play a critical role in providing patient care, managing medical records, and supporting the clinic's daily operations.
Responsibilities
Collect patient demographics based on symptomsManage and update electronic health records (EHR) and medical recordsAssist with patient care, including taking vitals and preparing patients for examinationsSupport front desk operations, including customer service tasksUtilize medical terminology effectively in daily tasksEssential Skills
1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinicProficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systemsStrong understanding of medical terminologyExcellent customer service skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdditional Skills & Qualifications
MA diploma or certification, or 1+ years MA experience is preferredRegistered Medical Assistant (RMA) certificationWork Environment
You will be working onsite at a primary care clinic, seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day.The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, 6 paid holidays, and PTO (8 hours for every 400 hours worked).Upon permanent employment, you will receive 9 paid holidays and 15 days of PTO.Additionally, there are opportunities for pay raises based on performance, and you can earn PTO tokens for outstanding actions.The work environment is supportive, with frequent staff lunches, dinners, and parties.Qualified candidates encouraged to apply!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
