Job Title: Medical Assistant - Nocatee, FL

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced Primary Care clinic. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient check-in, obtaining patient information (height, weight, medical questionnaire), recording vitals such as blood pressure, and assisting the physician. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality care to our patients.

ResponsibilitiesCheck-in patients and obtain necessary information such as height, weight, and medical historyRecord vital signs including blood pressureAssist physicians during examinations and proceduresMaintain and update patient medical recordsPerform phlebotomy and manage blood samplesProvide excellent customer service to patientsEnsure the clinic is clean and well-organizedAssist with electronic health record managementEssential SkillsCertified/registered Medical Assistant in the state of Florida (preferred)Proficiency in medical terminologyExperience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)Strong phlebotomy skillsAbility to record and interpret vital signs accuratelyExcellent communication and professional demeanorPositive attitude and compassion towards patientsConfidence in handling a demanding provider and patient loadAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in geriatrics, pediatrics, and internal medicineBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00
