Job Description
The medical assistant will work with providers to triage and room patients, take vitals, and enter information into the EMR. The medical assistant will see approximately 50-60 patients per day and work with pediatric patients (0-21 years old) who are accompanied by their parents. Responsibilities include performing blood pressures with a blood pressure cuff and finger sticks and heel sticks for babies. The ideal candidate must be passionate about working in the Pediatric Field.

The schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 to 2 Saturdays a month from 7:45am-12:00pm.
You will receive a half-day off during the week when working a Saturday.
Medical assistants must be comfortable working in both Waldorf and Upper Marlboro offices and have reliable transportation. The work environment is fast-paced with a high volume of 50-60 patients per day, and you must be comfortable with children.
