Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role does not involve injections or chart preparation. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in a multi-floor outpatient cancer facility.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in drawing and processing labsCall patients back and bring them from the front desk to the examination roomPerform phlebotomy and other related tasksMonitor physician schedulesConduct depression and pain scale screeningsDocument information for the physicianEssential SkillsExperience in patient care and medical assistingProficiency in phlebotomyKnowledge of medical records and electronic health records (EHR)Strong customer service skillsFamiliarity with medical terminologyBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAbility to measure blood pressureCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certificationAdditional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy experience and comfort with drawing bloodCommitment to long-term employment and growth within the organizationWork Environment

You will be working in an outpatient cancer facility with a compassionate team dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. There are opportunities for growth within the organization, and we support additional certification and training costs. Please note that this role does not involve working with pediatric patients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
