Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a dermatology clinic. The position requires availability between 7 AM and 7 PM, working 8-9 hour days, 4-5 days per week, with occasional Saturdays (1 per month).

ResponsibilitiesAssist patients in person and over the phone.Handle refill requests.Process fax authorizations.Perform potential front desk work.Manage about 2-4 patients per hour.Essential SkillsExperience as a Medical Assistant, particularly in dermatology or surgical procedures.Ability to assist patients effectively.Proficiency in handling refill requests and fax authorizations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NextGen or Modmed is ideal but not required.Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.Experience in dermatology or procedure-based settings is strongly preferred.Work Environment

The team includes five Medical Assistants, including one lead.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
