Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant with 1-2+ years of experience in medical assisting. The ideal candidate will have a experience in any specialty and experience using an EMR system, preferably Athena, although it is not required. A high school diploma or GED is necessary.

ResponsibilitiesRooming patientsEntering patient history into EMR systemTaking vital signs including body temperature, pulse, blood pressure, height, and weightSetting up the injection table for the provider to administer injectionsPreparing urine samples/urinalysis for providersWorking with returning patients to ensure quick turnover, with each provider seeing 30-35 patients per dayEssential SkillsMedical assistingPatient careVitals measurementExperience with EMR systems (Athena preferred)Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to handle a high volume of patients efficientlyStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsWork Environment

You will be working at a Pain Management Clinic with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. There may be occasions where you need to stay until 5:30 PM or come in a bit early if the provider is backed up. The role involves rotating between locations in Hammonton, Vineland, and surrounding areas. Benefits include no weekend work and potential for some overtime if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00
