Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in a prestigious OBGYN practice located in Soho, Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical assistance, particularly in an OBGYN setting, and possess strong communication and professional skills.

ResponsibilitiesGreeting patientsPrepping roomsRooming patientsDrawing blood and checking vitalsSterilizing equipmentUtilizing the EMR system (preferably eClinicalWorks)Triage callsPerforming leepsManual blood pressureEssential Skills3 or more years of Medical Assistance experience in an OBGYN officeExperience utilizing EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorksProficiency with pap smears, colposcopy, leeps, vitals, and blood drawsStrong communication and professional skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in gynecology and triageAbility to perform room prep, sterilization, and greeting patientsWork Environment

The position is based in a beautiful office space in Soho on Broadway, fully in-office. The team consists of 6-7 providers supported by the medical assistants. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional extended hours until 6:30 PM to close the office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the leading OBGYN practices in Manhattan and grow with the company long term. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
