Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Summary:

Provides direct and in-direct patient care under direction of office leadership. Performs duties such as routine intake of patients which includes taking vital signs, performing point of care testing as appropriate and assuring patients understand their discharge instructions. May also be required to transport patients. They will also be required to answer phone messages, propose orders per the JPP and assure providers are made aware when there are outstanding tasks on their desktops/message center that they must complete.

Other Information:

Graduate of an accredited two-year Medical Assistant program or Or certified by the NHA or AAMA preferred. For those not certified, National certification must be successfully attained within 6 months of employment and maintained after completion of certificate or degree program to meet compliance to perform in this position.

Education

Required High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)Graduate of an accredited two-year Medical Assistant program or Or certified by the NHA or AAMA preferred. Working Conditions
