ResponsibilitiesFollow protocol in rooming and exiting patientsPre-visit planningManage all elements of the rooming process including screening questionnairesCoordinate care with other members of the care teamEnsure that all patient clinical quality measures are being addressedComplete all provider referrals for each patientAssist the medical provider with charting office visits, ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordinationEssential SkillsCurrent/Active Certified Medical Assistant License in WA State0-1+ years of experience (new graduates are welcome)Excellent customer service skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsElectronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred, especially with EPICPhlebotomy experienceBilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plusBLS (Basic Life Support) certificationRegistered Medical AssistantWork Environment
Working in a clinic, providing care primarily for Medicaid/uninsured patients in a community health environment. Two Medical Assistants are assigned to one provider. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.44 - $26.00/hr.
