Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant who will primarily work on the phones, managing incoming patient calls and directing them to the RN on duty. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the clinic, rooming patients, taking vitals, and entering data into EPIC. This position involves working with the Department of Infectious Disease, which has 14 exam rooms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing 30-50 calls per day and sitting in the same place for multiple hours. A strong focus on customer service is essential.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a teaching practice with 70-100 patients. The Department of Infectious Disease has 14 exam rooms and a total of 9 Medical Assistants, with only one Medical Assistant assigned to phone duties.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
