Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description Provides safe and efficient patient care services under the supervision and direction of a licensed provider and nurse in performing various administrative duties. Has completed the training and competencies for medical technician in performing the routine tasks needed to care for the clinic patients. This position will be back office focused charting patients for general practice clinic in a hospital health network. Responsibilities + Taking vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, age, weight, temp) + Rooming the patient and setting up the file for the doctor + Room prep and stocking after the patient is out + Work with one provider and have daily meetings Essential Skills + Experience as a Medical Assistant + Proficiency in taking vitals + Strong customer service skills + Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Additional Skills & Qualifications + MA Certification + CPT Certification (preferred but not required) Work Environment Clinic environment / Very fast-paced. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
