Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a dermatology clinic in Berwyn, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and be available to work between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM, for 8-9 hour shifts, 4-5 days per week. This position also requires availability for occasional Saturdays, once per month. Responsibilities + Assist patients in person and over the phone + Handle refill requests + Manage fax authorizations + Perform potential front desk duties + Assist with 2-4 patients per hour Essential Skills + Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience + Phlebotomy experience or experience with minor surgeries + At least 1 year of medical assistant experience + Proficiency in medical assisting tasks Additional Skills & Qualifications + Dermatology experience preferred but not required + Experience with NextGen or Modmed is ideal but not required + Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred + Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required Work Environment The clinic primarily serves a Spanish-speaking population. Each provider sees 20-40 patients and there are two providers at this location. The team includes five Medical Assistants, including one lead MA. The clinic offers a supportive environment with opportunities to learn new skills and the potential for a permanent position. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
