Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking 4-6 passionate Medical Assistants to join our team in the Rainer Beach area. This role involves providing primary care to mostly low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, and immigrants. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, utilize their skills fully, and are reliable. The position requires working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with free parking available around the building.

ResponsibilitiesReviewing patient schedulesTaking patient histories and vitalsCleaning and restocking patient roomsAssisting providers or nurses with examinations or in-clinic procedures, including in-room documentation and note-taking to ensure accurate and timely medical recordsPerforming some phlebotomy and lab testsHelping with patient educationAssisting with cleaning and restocking shelvesEssential SkillsCertified Medical Assistant through WA DOH1-2 years of experience (new graduates acceptable)BLS certificationPhlebotomyExperience with EpicAppointment schedulingExperience with MAR, RMA, MACAdditional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of experience ideal, but willing to consider new graduatesMA-C preferred, but MA-R considered for highly skilled candidatesWork Environment

This role requires onsite work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The location offers free parking and serves a diverse population. The team is passionate about their work and believes everyone deserves a healthcare home regardless of income or insurance status.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
