Responsibilities + Check patients in and out + Schedule appointments + Handle prior authorizations + Room patients + Monitor and record blood pressure + Provide patient care in a cardiology practice Essential Skills + At least one year of experience in a specialty office setting + Proficiency with electronic health records + Knowledge of cardiology practice and terminology + Experience with Epic software + Ability to triage patients + Reliable transportation + High school diploma or equivalent Additional Skills & Qualifications + Medical Assistant Diploma + Cardiology experience preferred Work Environment This role is based in a very busy cardiology office with multiple providers. The standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The position requires flexibility to float to satellite offices in Shelton, Milford, Trumbull, Fairfield, and potentially Westport within the same week, though not on the same day. The practice is very team-oriented, making it a collaborative and supportive environment.
