We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours. CHI Health has an immediate need to add a PRN Clinic Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide or CNA) to our Women's Health Clinics! This position will be floating between 4 different locations! Papillion - Hyw 370 & 84th Bellevue - Hwy 370 & 36th 42nd & L in Omaha LaVista - 96th & Giles Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7a-530p - No weekends, No holidays & No call! PRN we are flexible! MUST be able to work weekdays. PRN requirements: MUST work at least 36hrs within a 6 week time-frame **Responsibilities** In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. If you have a passion for supporting others and enhancing patient experience, we want to talk to you. **Expectations:** + Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. + Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. + Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. + Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. + Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. + Cleans and sterilizes instruments. + Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. + Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. + Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. + Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Graduate of medical assisting program + Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid + Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association + High school diploma or equivalent **Pay Range** $17.04 - $23.43 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
