Medical Assistant
Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for supporting patient care through various tasks including taking vitals, client intake, rooming patients, and documentation. Responsibilities + Perform specific duties that support patient care + Take and record vitals + Conduct client intake procedures + Room patients + Maintain accurate and timely documentation Essential Skills + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification + Medical assisting and patient care experience + Experience in triage and performing EKGs + Proficiency with electronic health records + Medical Assistant diploma + 1+ years of experience (entry-level candidates will be considered) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Cardiology experience is a plus + Experience with stress testing + Ability to hit the ground running + Specialty experience preferred Work Environment You will work in a fast-paced cardiology office that is family-oriented but can be very busy at times. The main office location will be your primary workplace, with occasional travel to Middletown or Cheshire as needed. You will need to be available between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, working a full-time schedule within these hours. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
