Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at the The Guam Naval Hospital.
Requirements:
Answer phone calls regarding clinic business and communicate issues to the appropriate provider. Scan paperwork from completed paperwork and upload into the electronic medical record. Answer phone calls for MEPS clinic, set up appointments, walk in patients, review medical requirements, prepare packets for clinic appointments.
Qualifications:
possess a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 3 years.
Education: Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces is preferred.
Certification: Certified Medical Assistant Only: Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or Current registration by the American Medical Technologists or other formal program as specified in the TO.
