As a Medical Assistant on the UCLA Health
Ambulatory Float Team, you will have the opportunity to travel to various
ambulatory clinics, providing both administrative and patient care support.

This position requires a Clinical Assistant who
is flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive, as you will be traveling to UCLA
Community practices across multiple cities, including:
+ Santa Monica
+ Westwood
+ Beverly Hills
+ Calabasas
+ Santa Clarita
+ Burbank
+ Thousand Oaks
+ Westlake Village
Workdays and hours may vary based on
assignments, and you must be prepared for rapid same-day response assignments
in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Salary range: $28.06 - $37.02 per hour
Qualifications
Required:
+ Skill and knowledge to maintain current Medical Assistant Certification or diploma
+ Possession of active CPR certification/BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
+ Ability to take vital signs, venipunctures, perform injections, administer medications, and obtain drug refills
+ Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and procedures
+ Knowledge of symptomatology of common and/or life threatening medical problems and assessing abnormal laboratory values
+ Ability to use a computerized patient care systems and proficiency with the Windows operating system
+ Ability to be highly flexible, travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health community based practices and work a variable schedule
Highly desired:
+ Possession of Phlebotomy Certification
+ Minimum of six months of working experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
