Medical Assistant Associate Apply Now **Job Summary** The Cardiac Procedures Unit Cath Lab is currently seeking a full-time MA to join its established team. Our mission is guided by our Strategic Principles and has three critical components? patient care, education and research that together enhance our contribution to society. **Responsibilities*** Duties include but are not limited to: retrieving patients from the lobby, getting weights, getting the patient?s rooms ready, making beds, stocking the rooms, prepping patients for procedures including hair removal, site cleansing, hook up to monitor and obtaining Vital Signs, EKG's, Accuchecks, cleaning equipment, stocking of supplies, performing daily QA on testing equipment and emergency equipment. **Required Qualifications*** High School diploma or GED. Graduation from a MA program or equivalent combination of education and 1-3 years experience. 1-2 years of recent experience as a Nurse Aide/ICU Tech in a hospital setting. Vocational training in Health Care of College level courses in Health Care. Understands and demonstrates the core concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC), including Respect and Dignity, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration. **Desired Qualifications*** Certification as an EMT, CNA or MA preferred. **Work Schedule** 40 hours (5 8hr shifts), full-time.
