**Description** This is a combined posting for an Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Senior Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. The MA I works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An MA I is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The MA III works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA III is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II roles. Additionally, the MA III proactively takes initiative and serves as an informal leader with additional responsibilities related to clinic/location. MA III serves as an ambassador, change agent, quality champion, and mentor/resource to Medical Assistants by providing support, guidance, and training as needed. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Associate Medical Assistant** **Required qualifications:** + upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification. + within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. + Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months). **Preferred qualifications:** + Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program. + 6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. + 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR) $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Medical Assistant Salary Range: $17.06, $26.07 **Medical Assistant** **Required qualifications:** + Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam. + upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification. + upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification. + within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. + 6 months Healthcare experience. + 6 months Medical Assistant experience. **Preferred qualifications:** + Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Medical Assistant Salary Range: $18.50, $28.27 **Senior Medical Assistant** **Required qualifications:** + Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam + Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification + Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association + 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting + 2 years experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion + 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years **Preferred qualifications:** + Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification.
