Summary

Deliver patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits. Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers. Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.

Schedule

Fulltime position - Working 64 hours every two weeks | Four days per week | Onsite Daytime shifts between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:00PM

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $18.90 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $18.90 - $28.01 per hour $2,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates! Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)


Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Department

The CentraCare Willmar Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic with physicians and advanced practice providers in more than 40 specialty areas. Out physicians serve CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital and the CentraCare Willmar Surgery Center.

 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
