Summary

Deliver patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits. Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers. Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.

Schedule

Full time position - Working 56-64 hours every two weeks | Onsite at Lakeland Clinic Tues-Fri 7:30AM to 4:30PM; every other Sat. daytime (with Thursday off that week)

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $20.41 per hour: exact wage determined by years of related experience  Pay range: $20.41- $30.30 per hour $2,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates! Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
