Medical Assistant II (MA) - General Ambulatory Services

Our centralized Medical Assistant General Ambulatory Services team handles prescription refills, prior authorizations, charting, documentation of lab and test results, function a hospital liaison as well as medical record work for our Primary Care Clinics. What started as a pilot years ago has become a valued and successful solution helping the flow in the many large clinics at Dartmouth Health. If you are self-motivated, go getter with a strong passion to provide the best in patient care, we would like to speak with you. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST. You must have reliable internet (not satellite) and have a quiet comfortable space for you to do work FT remotely. Responsibilities Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required. * Previous experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred. * Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team. * Computer skills strongly preferred. * Must be willing and able to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage according to needs of the department. Required Licensure/Certifications - American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified - CMA designation OR American Medical Technologists (AMT) registered – RMA designation OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant plus 12-month D-H apprenticeship program – CCMA designation. - Current BLS certification required. * Remote:Fully Remote; * Area of Interest:LNA/MA; * FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week; * Shift:Day; * Job ID:27511; Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
