Our centralized Medical Assistant General Ambulatory Services team handles prescription refills, prior authorizations, charting, documentation of lab and test results, function a hospital liaison as well as medical record work for our Primary Care Clinics. What started as a pilot years ago has become a valued and successful solution helping the flow in the many large clinics at Dartmouth Health. You must have reliable internet (not satellite) and have a quiet comfortable space for you to do work FT remotely. Responsibilities Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required. * Previous experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred. * Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team. * Computer skills strongly preferred. * Must be willing and able to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage according to needs of the department.
